This album got middling reviews for being boring and generic, I think, but I like it! Maybe it helps if you're not familiar with their hardcore past. Mr. Lead Ceremony does a fine John Lydon impression, and the songs and guitar tones are satisfyingly unpleasant like pulling the skin off meat. And it's short -- so as head-clearing blasts of smacking around go, pretty good.
Way better than Cursive's I Am Gemini or anything by Green Day.
